Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #1: Caramel at Bellagio. Located at 3600 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Sleek furnishings. Hand-blown glass sculptures, dark leather couches. Great drinks. Be sure and try the Oreo shake martini made with Bailey's and crushed Oreo cookies. Relaxing spot for before dinner or after a show.

Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #2: Ghostbar 4321 W. Flamingo Road at the top of the Palms Hotel and Casino (a host to MTV's "Real World"). Small, intimate club. Awesome view of The Strip. Beautiful patrons. Be sure to stand on the transparent glass section of the patio and look down on the pool hundreds of feet below. You'll get vertigo, but you won't mind.

Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #4: Risqu at Paris Hotel and Casino. 3655 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Furnished with plush overstuffed couches and French velvet drapes. Tastefully decorated with Asian artwork, candles, and bamboo plants. Chic nightlife. Sophisticated crowds. Private balconies and rotating DJ lineup. Music is house and hip hop. Reservations recommended.

Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #5: Tabu at MGM Grand. 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Special effects technology is employed here. A pair of interactive tables allows you to manipulate projected images that seemingly bring the tables to life-images that respond to touch and motion. Ultra swanky with an engaging staff. Sleek and stylish with soothing house music.

Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #6: VooDoo Lounge at the Rio. 3700 W. Flamingo Road. Includes indoor/outdoor double-decker nightclub with a steel staircase that offers one of the best views in all of Las Vegas. Situated directly above VooDoo steak, a solid premier gourmet room.

Best Las Vegas Ultra Lounge #7: V Bar at the Venetian. 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Be forewarned that there is a dress code here. Roughly speaking, it's business casual. No jeans, no cut-offs. No fooling. On the upside, it's a hip and comfortable place to hang out and usually filled with intriguing and absorbing souls.
